THE LIST

Evelyn Sanders had big plans for New Year’s Eve – kiss her boyfriend Douglas at midnight and dive headfirst into her list of resolutions. Instead, she’s dumped in a cab and left bawling on a sidewalk, coatless and alone. 

Enter Oliver Adkins, the next passenger in that very same cab. Fresh off his own streak of romantic misfires, he’s no stranger to disappointment, but when he discovers Evelyn’s abandoned list of resolutions tucked in the coat pocket, something sparks inside him. Volunteer at an animal shelter? Fantastic. Ask for a raise? Sure. Pole dancing class? Um, yeah, okay…

As Evelyn’s year unfolds, she chases her own list, only to find the echoes of someone else marking her path. Oliver finds that each resolution draws him closer to Evelyn’s world. 

On New Year’s Eve one year later, destiny – and the list – finally bring them face-to-face. With their resolutions completed and their hearts mended, Evelyn and Oliver realize that sometimes, the best plans are the ones we never make.
